The Japanese Government aims to create a favorable business environment by 2030, focusing on cost reduction, public awareness, international promotion, and legislative frameworks. Estimates suggest enabling CO2 storage of 120 to 240 million tons by 2050, with full-scale CCS business deployment anticipated post-2030.
